Our Origin Story
Zenopsys was born from a problem witnessed firsthand on the frontlines of the life sciences industry. Our co-founder, Sriharsha, began his career setting up a biotech facility for CIPLA before moving to Ernst & Young, where he dove deep into the nuances of stringent regulatory compliance. Guiding major pharmaceutical companies through arduous US FDA and EU GMP guidelines, and remediating 483s, he saw how innovation was stifled by mountains of paperwork and the constant fear of falling out of compliance. Witnessing automation's impact in tech, he believed these principles could revolutionise life sciences, turning its biggest challenge into a strength.
Driven by a commitment to address challenges encountered firsthand, Sriharsha reunited with his BITS college batchmate and long-time friend, Varun. After building robust, scalable technology for some of India's largest consumer apps at Swiggy and with nearly a decade of engineering experience and expertise in deploying AI/ML models at scale, Varun brings the technology vision and customer obsession to enable sophisticated solutions for the day-to-day complexities of the life sciences industry.
